So you want to be a SUPERhero?
If you’ve got what it takes to <knock out> muscle disease, then get down to INTRUST Bank Arena on March 2nd at 9:30am sharp and run in our 2nd annual 5K!
Registration opens at 9am (look for information on pre-registration on our Facebook page) and the run starts at 9:30am. Afterward, be sure to come up to the arena concourse. We’ll have breakfast, activities, vendors and an awards ceremony taking place! Catch your breath and come join us!
You might be out to beat the competition with your race time but what about your costume?? Get creative and bring it with your best SUPERhero costume. You’ll be rewarded with some SUPER awesome prizes!
MDA’s Muscle Walk is an event that MDA has been hosting for 7 years right here in Wichita, bringing the families we serve, our sponsors and the community together in a victory lap walk. As our event has grown from 150 people to over 600, we’ve moved from Sedgwick County Park to Exploration Place and will be at INTRUST Bank Arena for the second year in a row. Last year we added a 5K component to our Muscle Walk, giving our families, supporters and the community an additional option to join us and support MDA!
Could you have another race in june?
Laura we would LOVE to but we plan our year out with several different fundraising programs and put a lot of effort into each one of them to make them the best they can be! Hopefully you can join us in 2014 (assuming you aren’t able to make it this year)!
